Life can get crazy busy - especially when juggling a demanding career, 2 limited companies with many different facets alongside a meaningful relationship, awesome friendships, the coolest pupster (Magic), a life, self care and downtime! As someone who manages multiple horses, goes competing, coaches showjumping, manages a stables and nurtuting a deep connection with my amazing partner, I have learned that balance isn't just a luxury - it's a necessity.

Some days it feels like I am spinning plates: early mornings at the yard, coaching sessions, emails, and the constant hum of responsibilities. Then there's the personal stuff - making sure I'm showing up fully in my relationship and friendships, staying connected, and carving out moments of rest and joy for myself.

The truth? It's not always easy. But through trial and lots of errors I have discovered a few things that really help me stay grounded and energised:

Prioritise what truly matters: My horses, my wee dog, my relationships with people and my work are my heart and soul. I try to focus on quality over quantity in each.

Treat Self Care as non negotiable: Whether it is taking time to cook and eat healthy food, a quick workout or an evening pamper with hair mask and DIY mani/pedi , - these little things add up to boost energy, wellbeing and feeling human!

Nurture Friendships and Relationships: In this sport we often are alone: compete alone, train alone and in the arena it is just us and our horse. Really nurturing our support network, spending time with people we love who love us back and feeling supported is so important for mental and emotional wellbeing.

Be adaptable and kind to yourself: Some days you will nail it and some days you will simply get by, and thats's okay. The days you get by will allow you to thrive on the amazing days.

With massive changes and growth on the horizon, i am embracing the beautiful chaos with excitement and gratitude. There's something new coming - a fresh chapter to step into - and I can't wait to share it with you all when the time is right.

For now, I'm soaking up every moment of this journey.

How do you find balance in your life? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
